The title says it all. Although many of the letters are from, to, or about noteworthy people, many are not – they’re simply noteworthy for one reason or another. All human life is captured here: at times moving, scary, humorous, but always interesting.
Like many of the more interesting sites, it grew out of a labour of love. Its proprietor was a collector of letters before he thought to put them on a website.
He has now collated many of his favourites in this lovely book.
